Memberstack doesn't work with localhost

1) We'd like to develop locally. Is there a way we can develop our website locally and login using our dev environments on localhost:8000 for example or "mydomain.test". Essentially would like to integrate memberstack into our Laravel application (similar to other web frameworks like Ruby On Rails or Django..)
2) This is important because we need to test Memberstack as we're setting it up. We have a custom website and are adding a Circle community. We'd like to have memberstack tie them all together.
3) We may continue to use Auth0 and have a separate Circle community login.
(sent via email "We’re using Auth0 right now and may trigger separate login email for the community")
4) Please account for localhost

Success! This request is officially baked into Memberstack 2.0 — that is, Memberstack will work with localhost as you're developing locally. This will be included in all stages of the product rollout 🎉🙌
Big thank you to everyone that contributed with their feedback here. 💯

It would be good to post some kind of official solution to the localhost issue. Just about anybody not using online web builders (like Webflow) is going to hit this issue and it may limit the audience memberstack reaches.
As you move into being a more serious developer centric tool, things like this will need fixing.

ngrok works just fine for me - this is becoming more and more frequent in dev due to https

Michael Garite: Are you saying that you can get v1 working with ngrok?
I call this:
fetch("https://api.memberstack.com/v1/members", {
headers: {
"X-API-KEY": "MY_KEY"
}
})
and I get this:
Access to fetch at 'https://api.memberstack.com/v1/members' from origin 'https://dbab7b358f38.ngrok.io' has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
