Can't programmatically cancel a membership
Duncan Hamra
1) The problem → We have to manually cancel members memberships.
2) Why is this important → Currently, this is all manual in order to customize the cancelation experience, which has a lot of room for error :/ Plus it's time consuming. We have approx. 800 members.
3) What's your plan B → Manually cancel folks accounts.
4) Possible solutions we could build for you → Make it easy to make these updates with some Javascript.

Short answer: We would love a JavaScript implementation to change memberships :)
Basically we just want a more customized user experience to help with Churn and also enforce terms of service agreements. Many of our subscribers will cancel and then not remember that the lost there discount subscription in the processes.
For this reason, we have to have a customized canceled experience. The user fills out a form, then we cancel it manually upon checking the form everyday. Which, of course, is a lot of room for error and does not prevent from a membership accidently continuing.
