1) Stripe has this pause functionality.
It Would it be nice if the system could show this information in my members account page?
2) This is great if you run a subscription based service with physical products, and maybe some of the subscribers want to pause the subscription during the holiday.
3) My plan B is to just pause the subscription within Stripe, but without the functionality to show my subscribers whats going on.
4) Would be nice just to show the information, or even better, make them pause it themself.
Is this ready? Do we have to keep invoices as draft or can we make uncollectible?

This is mostly complete in Memberstack 2.0 🎉
You can now pause a subscription via the Stripe dashboard and Memberstack will automatically respect the settings. Please note that the customer will not lose access to gated content during that time. (So this initial release is mostly useful to service based businesses).
We hope to loop back to complete this project before the end of the year.

Arnaud: Hey Arnaud 👋 Great question! I'll take note of this in the roadmap. I imagine we'd give you a toggle to allow members to pause their subscription. If enabled, this would display inside of the Stripe Customer Portal
A pause option would be SO helpful for my members too! Let's say a member starts their membership Jan 1 on a Quarterly plan. If they Pause their membership in February, their membership would be officially be paused at the end of March (on the Quarterly plan). Same idea for Monthly and Yearly plans. Thank ya kindly!

For my Members to be able to pause their subscription would be a super valuable feature for me. I guess having it as a toggle option for a membership. Allowing a 1 or 2 month pause can help to reduce churn for member businesses like mine, so I imagine this feature would directly benefit Memberstack's business immediately also.

In the meantime... I'll check to see if there are any potential issues with pausing a plan in Stripe. There's a chance that will cause your accounts to get out of sync.
Okay, I can confirm that pausing their membership plan will most likely cause issues with Memberstack going forward. Is this something you've been doing? If so, have you experienced any issues so far?
