Translate Memberstack

Translation, although can be overridden by JavaScript (reference), doesn't cover all cases. Sometimes user can still see the default English text which is very confusing.

planned
Planning to implement a UI for translating error messages. Once that's done, it will be possible to fully translate Memberstack 2.0

Can't translate emails sent by Memberstack
Duncan Hamra
1) I need to translate the password reset emails (and future emails sent by Memberstack) into my customer's language.
2) My customers don't speak English. Any UI that appears in English might as well not exist at all.
3) No solution. I'll need to find another solution.
4) Let me trigger my own emails or let me customize the text of any emails sent by Memberstack.

QOG Admin I turned this request into a new post, do you mind adding some more information on:
- What language you're hoping to translate it to
- What parts of the Memberstack UI could be translated
- Why this is important to your business?
Q
QOG Admin
Naitik Mehta: Hoping to translate to Chinese. Just to list a few:
- The update email button is not translated.
- The email not found alert when trying to reset password is not translated.
This is not a comprehensive list, but something we discovered during testing. Maybe your team should go through everything i18n string and check what's missing. This makes bad user experience because users don't know what to do if they can't read English. Thanks!

QOG Admin: This is very helpful, thank you so much for sharing the info + screenshots! Internationalization is on our list as well for 2.0, and it's something we'll be looking into post-2.0 launch.
For now, I'm afraid we don't have any other work arounds due to the technical limitations of our current approach. 🙏

Feedback from a customer on how we could possibly make this happen.

"I hope version 2.0 will introduce the ability to edit email content (template) from dashboard.
For now, the simplest solution would be for the reset code email not to be sent to the user, but to the administrator (us). In this situation, we can pull the code from the email and forward it to the user (using automation).
Another solution could be to add a Trigger in Zapier in case someone resets the password. Then we pull the code from Zapier."

JS: Sławomir Czyż Thank you!
This won't be available when 2.0 first launches, but it's definitely on the roadmap.
Thank you for the solutions too. We have another idea on our end which could allow you to upload your own HTML email / template that Memberstack would send on your behalf.
